PM condoled the deaths of the students and announced ₹2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the families of those who died in the accident and ₹50,000 for each of the injured
Police said seven medical students and the son of an MLA, were killed in the Wardha district of Maharashtra when the car they were traveling in fell off a bridge in the wee hours of 25 Jan.
The incident happened around 1.30 a.m. near Selsura village in the district in East Maharashtra, an officier said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the deaths of the students and announced 2 lakhs each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
