Crores of citizens did not have to go out of their homes through work from home, due to which this industry also contributed in preventing the spread of Kovid. Describing the 5G rollout as the country’s first priority, Reliance Jio owner Mukesh Ambani said, “We have developed a 100% native and comprehensive 5G solution that is completely cloud native, digitally managed and Indian. Due to our technology, Jio network can be upgraded from 4G to 5G at the earliest.”
Mukesh Ambani said that affordability is also very important for mobile user growth in the country and for this, the increase in fiber connectivity will have to be accelerated. Mukesh Ambani said that India should complete the migration from 2G to 4G and then to 5G at the earliest. Government Universal Service ‘Obligation Fund’ should be used to give mobile subsidy in the country. He said that the marginalized people of the country should be provided with services and devices at affordable prices if they want to be a part of the digital growth of the country.
